The RB 60 automatic retractable bollard is designed to ensure the security and access control of sites sensitive to intrusion attempts by force. It is an excellent solution for environments requiring deterrent beaconing without pedestrian access limitations. It has the advantage that, in a lowered position, it disappears completely. In urban environments, it is a perfect solution for managing vehicle access to pedestrian areas.
Mobile obstacle in brushed AISI 304 stainless steel, 275 mm in diameter and 6 mm thick, closed at the top by a cast aluminum crown. Double white self-reflecting strip at the top. Height from the ground: 600 or 800 mm.
2. Supporting structure in thick section steel profile.
3. Closing plate and transition frame between the obstacle and the pavement made of cast aluminum, connected to the fixing base.
4. Fixing base, consisting of a galvanized steel plate box.
5. Reinforcement and maintenance of the obstacle in a vertical position by means of a thick section steel clamp, solidly attached to the supporting structure, and by a nylon ring provided with silent blocks and integrated in the obstacle, which slides along the central cylinder.
6. Wear ring in synthetic material.
7. Central hydraulic cylinder, which pulls the bollard in its lifting and lowering movements (double effect). Movable obstacle not fixed to the cylinder, in order to limit the damage caused by small shocks.
Hydraulic power unit mounted on the supporting structure. Low hydraulic pressure during the lifting of the bollard. Reversal of the movement in case of detection of an obstacle > 40 kg. Full pressure (40 bars) during the last 10 cm of travel, and in raised position.
9. Obstacle stop when reaching the high position by means of a pressure switch and a mechanical stop.
10. Steel/rubber rollers, on which the bollard rests in its lowered position; they guarantee a high resistance to the passage of heavy vehicles (max. 25 T).
11. Inductive detector informing of the low position of the bollard.
12. Microprocessor-based management logic, displaced from the obstacle (10 m of electric cable supplied), programming by dip switches, diagnostics of the bollard status and visualization of the inputs and outputs used by LED indicators.
